- I help companies write and negotiate contracts. I think flexibly, strategically and commercially, helping businesses to structure deals so they get the best results.
- Particular expertise in energy law (especially for renewable and flexible generation), franchising, international trade, distribution and logistics, and leasing, and have been the lead advisor and negotiator on many complex cross-border projects.
- Specializing in all types of commercial law, I advise on corporate, competition, IT and construction law.
I have worked extensively for energy companies (suppliers, traders and generators), high street retailers, banks, public sector bodies and food and drink businesses. My experience comes from advising a wide variety of established and start-up business for a major UK law firm and in my current position in one of Europe’s leading energy companies. In addition to my work as a solicitor, I have had various academic teaching and research posts.
